GREENVIEW -- Alice Marie Beauchamp, 79, of Greenview, died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2004, at 10 a.m. in Logan County.

Her body was cremated.

A graveside service was at 1 p.m. Monday at Elmwood Cemetery, Greenview, with the Rev. Mike Farrar officiating.

Hurley Funeral Home in Mason City handled arrangements.

Ms. Beauchamp had been a clerk in the assessor's office at the Menard County Courthouse.

She was born Nov. 19, 1925, at Petersburg to Claude "Casey" and Villetta Clayton Bangs. She married Robert Beauchamp, and they were divorced.

She is survived by three daughters, Barbara Beauchamp (and husband Nelson Petrey) of Carlsbad, Calif., Beverly Conrad of Huntingdon, Pa., and Penny Beauchamp of San Dimas, Calif.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.

She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
