CHESTNUT -- Raymond Lee Obzut,
64, of Chestnut, died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2004, at 8:44 p.m. at
Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4
p.m. Sunday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount
Pulaski. His funeral will follow at 4 p.m. at the funeral
home, with John Robertson officiating.
Burial will be in Laenna
Cemetery, Chestnut, at a later date.
Mr. Obzut retired from
Chestnut Farmer's Grain.
He was born May 17, 1940, in
Baltimore, Md., to Rudy and May Duffy Obzut. He married Glenda
Hoback in Baltimore on Dec. 24, 1958.
He is survived by his wife, of
Chestnut; one son, Raymond (and Melissa) Obzut Jr. of Mount
Pulaski; one daughter, Mary (and Keith) Manner of Berlin, Md.,
three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one sister,
Shirley M. Obzut of Baltimore, Md.
A granddaughter preceded him
in death.
He was of the Christian faith
and was a member of the Chestnut Men's Club.

LINCOLN -- Helen M. Hulse, 90,
of Lincoln, died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2004, at 12:53 p.m. at
Maple Ridge Care Centre.
Her funeral was
Thursday morning at Holland and Barry Funeral Home, with Dr. Carroll
Richards officiating.
There was no visitation.
Burial is in Zion
Cemetery.
Ms. Hulse was a sales clerk
for Tots and Teens and Landauer's children's department for
years.
She was born Aug. 19, 1914, at
Emden to John F. and Hannah Meyers Wubben.
She is survived by one son,
Wayne T. Rankin of Leon, Kan.; a daughter-in-law, Margaret
Rankin of Lincoln; six grandchildren; eight
great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and one
sister, Hannah Coorts of Kirksville, Mo.
A son, Carl L. Rankin,
preceded her in death.
She was a member of the First
Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Lincoln.
Memorials will be a family
choice.
