Fighting Illini host seven-game home schedule at Memorial Stadium

The University of
Illinois Division of Intercollegiate Athletics began single-game
football ticket sales today (Wednesday) at 9 a.m. Fans can purchase
main stand, balcony and horseshoe tickets for any of the seven home
games scheduled for this fall at Memorial Stadium.

Single-game tickets cost $35 apiece for
main stand and balcony seats for six of the seven home games, with
Oct. 16 Michigan game main stand and balcony tickets priced at $40
each. Horseshoe tickets for all seven home games are $17 each.
Illinois football single-game ticket prices remain among the most
economical in the Big Ten Conference.
Illinois hosts seven games at Memorial
Stadium for the first time in school history, welcoming four
consecutive home games in September -- Sept. 4 versus Florida A&M,
Sept. 11 versus UCLA, Sept. 18 versus Western Michigan and Sept. 25
versus Purdue; two October home dates -- Oct. 16 versus Michigan and
Oct. 30 versus Iowa; and a Nov. 6 date with Indiana. All game times
are yet to be announced.

tickets by phone toll-free at (866) Illini-1, online at
www.fightingillini.com
or in person at the athletic box office at the Assembly Hall. The
ticket office is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Season football tickets have been on
sale since March 8, with nearly 90 percent of season ticket holders
renewing their seats for the 2004 season. A seven-game season
football ticket costs $208 and includes the 2005 Orange and Blue
spring game.

Group ticket sales have also seen an
increase this season, with nearly 40,000 tickets sold. For group
ticket information, please call (217) 244-0016. Group ticket orders
can receive a discount off the main stand ticket price and access to
the Tailgate Tent area just west of Memorial Stadium.
