[MAY 29, 2004]
Main Street Lincoln
presents the third annual Dog Daze of Summer, with events beginning at 9:30
a.m. June 26 in downtown Lincoln. As in past years, dogs
and their owners are invited to attend the popular day out on the
town. Previous experience has proven that both species enjoy the
unique experience of gathering together for a time of showing off,
getting acquainted, and some even see neighbors they don't see any
other time of the year.

If you have gone
before, it's a sure thing you'll be going again, because who wants
to miss seeing man and his best friend out having fun? If you
haven't attended, there is no way to explain all the delight you
will witness as the dogs and their owners either put on their best
performance or simply enjoy themselves.

- Fun contests for
your dog: Abe's choice, best dressed, cutest, fastest eater,

For those who like to
participate in the dog walk, parade registration begins at 8:30 a.m.
at the Blue Dog Inn the day of the event. To preregister your dog,
please call Main Street Lincoln at (217) 732-2929. Register by June
