[JUNE 25, 2004]  The Lincoln Community High School Foundation's second annual golf outing will be Friday, July 9, at the Lincoln Elks Country Club. Registration and lunch will begin at 11:30 a.m., with tee-off scheduled for 1 p.m.

The outing will be a four-person scramble with an entry fee of $65, which includes greens fee and free cart rental, the opportunity to win prizes and awards, and the satisfaction of providing educational opportunities for LCHS students.

All monies raised in the golf outing will be awarded to a variety of LCHS programs, scholarships and identified educational needs, including technology, fine arts and other educational-related endeavors. All donations will be spent with the approval of the board of directors of the Lincoln Community High School Foundation and consistent with the foundation's missions and goals.

The foundation was created to enrich the lifelong learning programs and provide educational opportunities to LCHS students. It provides funds beyond the normal operating budget for educational programs not available through tax revenues. The foundation encourages program suggestions and recommendations from community patrons.
