The Oasis, Logan
County's senior citizen center, 501 Pulaski St. in Lincoln, is open
weekdays (except holidays) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The center is also
open on Friday and Sunday nights for table games. Dominic Dalpoas is
the executive director. Activities are open to all Logan County
senior citizens, regardless of membership.

Computer
class
Several seats are still available for
the Computer Basics class scheduled for 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. March
9-12. Call 732-6132 for a reservation. The cost is $15 for members
and $18 for nonmembers.

Alive" AARP safe driving class
If you are interested in a discount on
your car insurance premium, sign up for the two-day course offered
by AARP on March 17-18 from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. The $10 fee for
materials is payable to AARP at the time of the class. Call 732-6132
for a reservation. Seating is limited.
Bingo
Thursday
Maple Ridge will sponsor the bingo
games starting at 1 p.m. Thursday. Bring your friends and enjoy an
afternoon of fun, snacks and prizes.
Friday
night games
The potluck for the 6 p.m. Friday games
has been scheduled for March 5 instead of March 12. Please make a
note of the schedule change on your calendars.

Veterans
A representative will be on-site from 9
to 11:45 a.m. Tuesday, March 9, to assist veterans with any issues
they may have. No appointment is necessary.
Annual
auction
The fourth annual Oasis auction of
merchant donations and gently used items will be Saturday, March 13,
beginning at 9 a.m. Auctioneers will be Dan White and Mike Maske.
Lunch, coffee and doughnuts will be available. The event is a
fund-raiser for the Senior Citizens of Logan County Inc.

Linda Hughes and Mable Hoagland were
the weekday pinochle winners, and Marie Rogers and Larry Van Bibber
won on the weekend. The weekend winners for 5 in 1 were Dorthey
Oltmanns and Judy Morrow.
