[MARCH 22, 2004]  Lincoln Community High School's group interpretation entry advanced to the state tournament by placing first in sectional competition at Olympia.

The group also placed five members of the cast in the all-sectional group interpretation cast. They were Doug Rohrer, Kassandra Pepperell, Tom Swanson, Eric Knutilla and Brandon Davis. All other members of the Lincoln cast received honorable mention votes for the all-sectional cast.

Director Ed Jodlowski said it was "a really gratifying performance." He said the students "really brought the story to life."

Director Carrie Schreiber was also complimentary of the group's performance. "We were good today, but with some refining and polishing, we'll be even better next weekend," she said.
