[NOV. 29, 2004]  The Harvest of Talents for World Hunger will sponsor a holiday tour of homes on Sunday afternoon, Dec. 5, from 1 to 4.

Home tour hosts are Mary Amberger and Norma Knichel, 130 Campus Drive; Veva Appel, 629 Peoria St.; Elizabeth Brackney, 311 S. Logan St.; and Thomas and Linda Marini, 12 Pinehurst Road, all in Lincoln. Also included in the tour is the rural Beason home of Darwin and Jane Ingram.

The Marini home will be the site of Mrs. Claus' Workshop, featuring a variety of jams, jellies and holiday baked goods. Tree ornaments and craft items will also be offered for sale. Weather permitting, a live Nativity scene will be featured at the Ingram home.

Postville Courthouse in Lincoln will also be open for viewing during the home tour hours. The historical site will be decorated in fresh greens and period ornaments.
