Cooper awarded James Hickey Memorial Scholarship

 Jarryd Cooper, son of David and Bobbi Cooper of Middletown, is this year's recipient of the James Hickey Scholarship at Lincoln College.

Cooper, a 2004 Lincoln Community High School graduate, is taking liberal arts courses and plans to pursue a degree in criminal justice.

The James Hickey Scholarship is awarded to a worthy student from the area and is given in memory of Mr. James Hickey, a former member of the college's board of trustees and curator of the Lincoln Collection for the state of Illinois.

Dailey awarded Bevan Scholarship     Send a link to a friend

Marquita Dailey, daughter of Mark and Isola Dailey of Lincoln, is this year's recipient of the Edna Bevan Scholarship at Lincoln College.

Dailey, a freshman, is a 2004 graduate of Calvary Baptist Academy in Springfield. She is studying general education courses and plans to major in biological sciences.

The Edna Bevan Scholarship is awarded to a worthy student who shows academic potential. The award is given in memory of Ms. Bevan, a longtime friend of the college.

Alley awarded Crowder Scholarship     Send a link to a friend

Heather Alley, daughter of Clifford and Laura Alley of Lincoln, is this year's recipient of the Carl Crowder Memorial Scholarship at Lincoln College.

Alley, a 2004 graduate of Lincoln Community High School, is studying general education courses. She plans to continue her education at a four-year university and major in social sciences.

The Carl Crowder Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a student who graduated with good academic standing from one of the surrounding county high schools. It is given in memory of Carl Crowder, an alumnus of the college's class of 1930.

Fitzpatrick awarded Roger Webster Construction Scholarship

Jason Fitzpatrick, son of Kurt and Teresa Fitzpatrick and Tammy Heidbreder, all of Lincoln, is this year's recipient of the Roger Webster Construction Scholarship at Lincoln College.

Fitzpatrick, a sophomore, is a 2003 graduate of Lincoln Community High School. He is taking liberal arts courses and plans to major in business administration.

The Roger Webster Construction Scholarship is awarded to a worthy student in good academic standing. Mike Miller and Kurt Fitzpatrick, co-owners of Roger Webster Construction, established the scholarship. Miller was a member of the Lincoln College class of 1982.
