Free special education workshop

[OCT. 9, 2004]  SPRINGFIELD -- The Springfield Center for Independent Living is sponsoring a free special education workshop on the topic "Understanding Your Child's IEP Form." The workshop will be presented by Vickie Henley, training consultant with Family Matter, on Tuesday, Oct. 19, from 6 to 9 p.m. in Room 201 at the Laurel United Methodist Church, 631 W. South Grand Ave. in Springfield.

This free workshop is open to parents and guardians of children with disabilities, teachers, administrators and social service professionals.

Refreshments will be provided.

Jefferson in Springfield. If you need an interpreter, Braille or other accommodation, please call two weeks in advance.
