Irving awarded JM Abbott & Associates Scholarship

[SEPT. 7, 2004]  Lincoln College sophomore Robert Irving, son of Sue Irving of Lincoln, is this year's recipient of the JM Abbott & Associates Scholarship at Lincoln College.

Irving, a 2003 Lincoln Community High School graduate, is taking liberal arts courses at Lincoln College.

The JM Abbott & Associates Scholarship is awarded to a worthy student from Logan County who is in good academic standing.

Montgomery awarded Beltchenko Dance Scholarship

[SEPT. 7, 2004]  Brande Montgomery, daughter of Sam and Marilyn Montgomery of Lincoln, is this year's recipient of the Angela Beltchenko Annual Dance Scholarship at Lincoln College.

Montgomery, a sophomore, is a 2003 Lincoln Community High School graduate. She is taking liberal arts courses at Lincoln College and plans to continue her education to study business administration. She is a member of the Lincoln College Dance Force.

The dance scholarship was established in 2003. The benefactors, Michael and Laura Beltchenko of Libertyville, were inspired to create this scholarship to help other dance students much like Angela, their daughter. The Lincoln College Fine Arts dance program influenced her to fulfill her dreams, and the annual scholarship is to help others fulfill theirs.

Schneider awarded Kiwanis Scholarship   Send a link to a friend 

[SEPT. 7, 2004]  Alyssa Schneider of Lincoln is this year's recipient of the Lincoln Kiwanis Club Scholarship at Lincoln College.

Schneider, a freshman, is a 2004 Lincoln Community High School graduate. She is taking liberal arts courses at Lincoln College and working toward an associate in arts degree. She plans to continue her education and major in chemistry. She is the daughter of Joe and Bridgett Schneider of Lincoln.

The Lincoln Kiwanis Club established the scholarship to support students from the area who show academic potential and are active in extracurricular activities that benefit the local communities of Logan County.

Conrady awarded Logan County Farm Bureau Scholarship     Send a link to a friend

[SEPT. 7, 2004]  Breann Conrady of Elkhart is this year's recipient of the Logan County Farm Bureau Scholarship at Lincoln College.

Conrady, a sophomore, is a 2003 Lincoln Community High School graduate. She is taking liberal arts courses at Lincoln College, with an emphasis in psychology, and is active with the Lincoln College Spirit Leading squad. She is the daughter of David and Lisa Conrady of Elkhart.

The Logan County Farm Bureau Scholarship is awarded to worthy students in good academic standing who have an interest in agricultural studies.
