ST. LOUIS --
Lorenzo Gordon
became the third player to sweep both the State Farm Missouri Valley

In addition to lifting the Redbirds'
winning percentage, Gordon has taken over the league lead in scoring
and offensive rebounding. The St. Louis native matched his career
high with 26 points at Indiana State and paved the way for Trey
Guidry's heroics with his third double-double (19 points and 11
rebounds at Creighton) in the last four games.
Gordon, a junior, averaged 22.5 points per game for the week, while
collecting nine rebounds per contest, including nine offensive
caroms. He shot 18-for-29 (.621) from the field and 9-of-11 (.818)
from the foul line while logging 39 minutes per game.
Gordon and the Redbirds were in action again Tuesday night,
defeating
Evansville 77-58 at Redbird Arena.
