The auxiliary placed second in the Americanism category in the
awards program at the recent state convention. This covers all
patriotic activities the auxiliary has been involved in for the past
year, such as presentation of colors, attending ceremonies and
especially the work on the Veterans Honor Roll inscribed brick
program. Membership also received 100 percent renewed and
numerical awards.

Reports:
- Membership: Auxiliary dues for 2005-2006 will be accepted
starting in August, in hopes of having all dues paid by
Sept. 1. New members are welcome to join to assist veterans.

- Community service: $374.50 evaluation, including
volunteer work at the local food pantry, cash donation to
the pantry and miscellaneous cards sent.
- Hospital: $1,896.25 evaluation
- Americanism: $1,579 evaluation
Continuous membership certificates were displayed for Winifred
Thompson, 40 years; Shirley Sorg, 40 years; and Nellie Crumpler, 30
years.
