Erin is the daughter of
Rita Seggelke of Lincoln and Alan Baker of Memphis, Tenn. She is a
1998 graduate of Central Baptist High School in Memphis and a 2003
graduate of Lincoln Christian College, where she received her
bachelor's degree in early childhood development. After graduation,
she spent a year in the Peace Corps in Jamaica.
Barak is the son of Sam
and Mary Taylor of Windsor. He is a 1989 graduate of Windsor High
School and a 1991 graduate of Lake Land College in Mattoon. He
completed his bachelor's degree in political studies at the
University of Illinois-Springfield in 1993.
He is currently
stationed at Fort Gordon, Ga., where he is a staff sergeant in the
U.S. Army. He has served in the Army for 10 years, currently as an
Arabic linguist.
An outdoor wedding at
Latham Park in Lincoln is planned for July 29 at 6 p.m. with a
reception to follow at Lincoln Christian Church.
