[JUNE 10, 2005]  The Triple T baseball team won its second game of the season 10-9 Thursday night at Mount Pulaski. The team is now 2-5 overall.

The team played its best defensive game of the year, highlighted by two putouts and three assists by third baseman Jonathan Mangano and a rare 8-7-3-2 putout at home with the runner trying to stretch a triple into a home run.

Offensively, Zach Toft was 2-for-2 with three runs scored; Josh Mote doubled home a run and scored twice; Mangano had an RBI triple; Nate Kunkel was 3-for-3 with a triple and three RBIs; and Matthew Graham doubled.

Tyson Smith got the win, pitching the last three innings while striking out five.

Triple T will host Bloomington Friday night at 6 at the Rec Center's PONY diamond.
