Sharon L. Nudo was westbound on
Illinois 54 near 1400 Avenue at 12:35 on Thursday afternoon when she
lost control of her vehicle. The car crossed the roadway and went
off to the left. It struck a utility pole and rolled over, coming to
rest on its top.Logan County Sheriff's Department, Mount Pulaski
Fire Department and Logan County Paramedics responded to the scene.
Nudo was wearing a seat belt. She was transported to St. John's
Hospital in Springfield with non-life-threatening injuries.
Nudo was charged with DUI; unlawful use of a weapon, for having
brass knuckles; illegal transportation of alcohol; and possession of
a controlled substance.
