Salvation Army announces rental assistance

[NOV. 30, 2005]  The Salvation Army announces its "Home for Christmas Holidays" rental assistance program.

Criteria:

• Client must make appointment, 732-7890
• Program dates: Dec. 1-20
• Must be a legitimate landlord-owned rental property
• $250 assistance limit for up to 20 families

Applicant must have:

1. Eviction notice in hand.
2. Letter from landlord that he or she will accept Salvation Army funding and will not evict for at least 30 days.
3. Proof that any overage amount owed has been paid first.
4. Photos IDs, Social Security cards for all in household, signed rent or lease agreement.
