'Putting Your House In Order' seminar

ELKHART -- Elkhart Christian Church is hosting
a unique seminar on two Thursdays, beginning this evening, to help
individuals think about and plan ahead for end-of-life needs and
decisions. The "Putting Your House In Order" seminar is free and
open to the community, but preregistration is requested for an
adequate supply of materials. Sessions will be conducted at the
church building, 113 S. Gillett St.

A multitude of topics will be discussed, all having to do with
family desires, religious customs, legal and financial concerns
before, during and after the death of a loved one. The seminar
will also include a field trip to the Museum of Funeral Customs in
Springfield on Saturday (Sept. 10) from 1 to 4 p.m.
Seminar speakers include Tom Funk, attorney; Chuck Fricke, past
Logan County coroner; and Nathan Fricke, funeral director.

Sept. 8
- 7-8 p.m. -- Chuck Fricke on "Advantages to Pre-need
Arrangements."
- 8-9 p.m. -- Tom Funk on "What the Law Says: Wills, Trusts,
Guardianship and Legal Responsibilities"

- 1-4 p.m. -- Field trip, with transportation provided.
Sept. 15
- 7-8 p.m. -- Chuck and Nathan Fricke on "Pre-financing IS
Possible and Advantageous"
