Sue Beavers named ALMH Employee of the
Year

Sue Beavers, an inpatient pharmacy technician
at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital, has been named the ALMH 2006
Employee of the Year. She was the ALMH Employee of the Month in June
2006 and in June 1992.

Beavers was hired in 1977
to work both in the pharmacy and in the storeroom. Today, she is a
licensed and certified pharmacy technician. She contributes to the
hospital's success by processing medication orders, delivering
medications to departments and individual patient rooms, and
answering pharmacy-related questions from nurses and other
professionals.
"Sue will help to solve a problem of any kind and goes the extra
mile to make sure the problem is solved," her nominator wrote. "She
does a great job relating to all people, is always pleasant to be
around and is always there to help."
ALMH President and CEO Dolan Dalpoas commented: "Sue is an
outstanding staff member and a great person. We are very proud of
the work she does every day to create great patient experiences. She
has worked hard for many years and truly deserves this award."

ALMH recognizes an outstanding employee each month. The ALMH
Employee of the Year is selected from among the monthly honorees.

environmental services; Theresa Thomas, central registration; Brenda
Westphal, medical-surgical; Beth Staton, nutrition services; Jenni

administration.
