Wilfred W. “Squeak” Werth

[DEC. 28, 2006]  Wilfred W. “Squeak” Werth, 90, of Lincoln passed away at 7 p.m. on Dec. 27, 2006 at the Christian Village, Lincoln.

Service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 30 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln. Visitation will be from noon to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in New Union Cemetery.

He was born to Rudolph J. and Alma Teichman Werth on July 4, 1916 in Lincoln. He married Dorothy Henson on Oct. 1, 1937 in Champaign.

He is survived by his wife of Lincoln; three sons, Jay (Patricia) Werth of Santa Rosa, CA, Terry “T.W.” (Becky) Werth of Lincoln and Julian “Judd” (Susan) Werth of Orland Park; seven grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

He was the last of his immediate family. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Norman E. and one sister, Guinevere Ray.

Mr. Werth was a retired Standard Oil agent, retired owner of the Lincoln Redwood Motel Inn and retired auto salesman for Langellier’s and Hake Oldsmobile.

He was a member of Lincoln Christian Church.

Memorials may be made to the Christian Village, Lincoln.
