Angels vs. MacMurray College

The Highlanders of MacMurray College, 8-12, handed
the Lincoln Christian College Angels, 11-9, a 62-59 defeat in
Lincoln on Monday evening in a closely contested game in which
neither team had more than a five-point lead at any time. The teams
were tied at 28 at the half.

MacMurray, shooting 40 percent from the field for the game, was led
in scoring by E. Ernest with 23 and K. Carls with 16. The Angels
placed three in double figures: Kari Otto, 15; Emma Hanford, 13; and
Bobbie Larson, 12. The visitors outrebounded the Angels 35-33.
For their final home game, the Angels will host Principia College
on Feb. 16.
