Johnson's 15 points led the Redbirds in scoring on Sunday, but it
wasn't enough as ISU suffered a last-second defeat to the Mustangs,
57-55. [Previously posted
game report] Johnson was lethal from beyond the arc, with all 15 points
coming as a result of made 3-pointers. He was 5-for-12 from the field and 5-of-11 on 3s, but his biggest
3-pointer was his last 3-point shot. The Bell City, Mo., native sank
a trey from 30 feet to tie the score at 55-55 with 27 seconds left,
but a last-second tip-in thwarted Johnson's heroics.
The junior guard also added a rebound, an assist and a blocked
shot in 35 minutes of action.
