Tailgate, fan bus scheduled for ISU-EIU football game

Illinois State University President Dr. Al Bowman and Director of
Athletics Dr. Sheahon Zenger will co-host a free tailgate party
outside the southeast corner of O'Brien Stadium in Charleston on
Saturday for the NCAA Division I Football Championship first-round
game between the Redbirds and Eastern Illinois.

The tailgate includes lunch and will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
In addition, the ISU Athletics Department will offer a fan bus trip
to the game. The price of the trip is $25 per person, which includes
travel and admission to the game. Fans must register for the bus
trip online at
http://www.alumni.ilstu.edu/football. The deadline to register
is Wednesday. Due to the State Farm Missouri Valley Conference
Volleyball Championship being played at Redbird Arena, the buses
will depart at 9 a.m. from lot G-73, which is the parking lot
between Hancock Stadium and Main Street. The buses will arrive in
Charleston in time to attend the free tailgate.

For fans who are interested in just a game ticket, those are
available at the Redbird Arena ticket office for $12 per person and
can be ordered by calling 309-438-8000.
