passed away at 2:45 p.m. on Oct. 22, 2006 at Hopedale Medical
Complex. |
Norma J. Leevey, 71, of Lincoln passed away at 2:45
p.m. on Oct. 22, 2006 at Hopedale Medical Complex.
Mrs. Leevey will be cremated. A graveside service is
set at noon on Saturday, Oct. 28 at New Union
Cemetery, Lincoln. Fricke, Calvert, Schrader Funeral
Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Leevey was a mental health technician at
Lincoln Developmental Center from 1961 – 1987.
She was born to Roy and Maude May Deavers on Feb. 9,
1935 in Lincoln. She married Charles W. Leevey on
Sept. 22, 1962 in New Holland. He preceded her in
death on Aug. 2, 1984.
She is survived by two sons, David (Brenda) Leevey
and Charles E. Leevey, both of Lincoln; one sister,
Edna Deavers of Bloomington; two brothers, Wallace
Deavers of Cartersburg, IN and Raymond Deavers of
New Holland; five grandchildren and two great
grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband
and two brothers, Louis and William Deavers.
She attended Park Meadows Baptist Church.
