Virginia (Ginny) Ayers

[OCT. 24, 2006]  MT. Pulaski -- Virginia (Ginny) Ayers, 84, of Hemet, CA, formerly of Mt. Pulaski, IL,  died at 6:30 AM Thursday, Oct. 19, 2006, at her home.  She graduated from Mt. Pulaski High School and was a long-time resident of Mt. Pulaski.

She was born July 27, 1922 in Chicago. IL to George and Irene Baldwin Underhill.  She married Herbert Ayers on September 26, 1941 in Mt. Pulaski, IL.

She is survived by her husband Herbert of 65 years, two daughters Sally (and Bill) Morgan of Reseda, CA and Susan (and Rik) Hopkins of East Peoria, IL; 4 grandchildren, Matt (and Heather) Morgan of Chatsworth, CA,  Molly (and Todd) Hickerson of Highland, CA, Jeremy Jenkins of Pensacola, FL and Julie Jenkins of Aurora, IL; two great grandchildren and one brother George Robert (and JoAnn) Underhill of  Huson, MT.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Jane Abrams.

She was a member of Grace Chapel Four Square Church in Hemet, CA for the past 26 years.

She enjoyed teaching and doing ceramics for many years, and cherished her family throughout her life.  She has left a void in our family, but we all cherish the many memories she has left us.   

Private family services will be held on Friday, Oct. 27 at 1:00 PM McWane Family Funeral Home in Hemet, CA
