Absentee voting open in county clerk's office Saturday morning         

[OCT. 31, 2006]  Logan County Clerk Sally J. Litterly said in a statement Monday that her office will be open from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday for the purposes of absentee voting only.

Any registered Logan County voter wishing to cast a ballot early or absentee may do so now at the Logan County clerk's office, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Voters must bring in proof of identification when casting an early vote.

The last day to cast an early vote is Thursday. Absentee voting by mail also ends Thursday. The last day to cast an absentee ballot in person is Monday.
