[SEPT.
19, 2006]
Altogether, 47 community members came to
Immanuel Lutheran Church and registered to donate for the Central
Illinois Community Blood Center drive on Sept. 11. Forty-two units
of lifesaving blood were collected for area patients.
|
Special thanks to all who participated, to the Rotary for sponsoring
the event and to Immanuel Lutheran Church for graciously agreeing to
host this drive after a second fire on the CICBC bloodmobile. In
October, the community blood drives will be back at the Lincoln
Masonic Center, where they will be held indefinitely.
