Fifth-graders from Logan County participated in the
annual Children's Health Fair at the Lincoln Park District on Friday.
Students learned about cancer prevention, exercise, nutrition, personal
hygiene, posture, dental health and the effects of smoking, drugs and
alcohol on the body. Professionals were on hand for demonstrations and
presentations about hospitals, disabilities, emergency services and safety.
The Community Health Fair was on Saturday.
