Agriculture futures mostly fall          Send a link to a friend

[August 29, 2007]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Corn, soybean and oat prices fell Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery rose 0.25 cent to $7.3825 a bushel; December corn fell 8.25 cents to $3.4475 a bushel; December oats lost 8.5 cents to $2.5225 a bushel; November soybeans dipped 0.5 cent to $8.7225 a bushel.

Beef futures fell, while pork futures finished mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle fell 0.15 cent to close at 97.6 cents a pound; September feeder cattle fell 0.12 cent to $1.1845 a pound; October lean hogs rose 0.2 cent to 67.9 cents a pound; February pork bellies lost 1.05 cent to 91 cents a pound.
