[December 10, 2007]  The following recalls were issued by various federal and state agencies during the week ending Dec. 8: 

OLD NAVY BOYS' JACKETS 

Old Navy LLC is recalling Performance Fleece-Lined boys' jackets sold nationwide from August 2007 to November 2007. The jackets have a waist drawstring with a toggle that could become snagged or caught in small spaces or doorways, which can pose an entrapment hazard. 

The performance fleece-lined shell jackets are hooded, zip in the front, and have a drawstring at the waist. "Old Navy" is printed on a label at the neck. Style number 507907 is printed on a white label sewn into the side seam of the jacket. 

Consumers should return the jackets to any Old Navy store.

GENERAL ELECTRIC WALL OVENS 

GE Consumer & Industrial is recalling Built-in Combination Wall and Microwave Ovens sold nationwide from January 2000 to December 2003. The door switch in the microwave oven can overheat and ignite plastic components in the control area, posing a fire hazard to consumers. 

The recall includes GE combination microwave and conventional built-in wall ovens sold under the following brand names: GE, GE Profile® and Kenmore. A complete list of the recalled ovens can be found at www.recalls.org

BLACK & DECKER TOASTERS 

Applica Consumer Products Inc. is recalling Black & Decker® brand Infrawave™ Toasters sold nationwide from March 2007 to November 2007. An electrical component in the toaster can overheat and ignite the circuit board, posing a fire hazard. 

The recalled two-slice toaster is black with stainless steel trim and has a digital display below the toaster lever. The Black & Decker® brand name is on the top of the toaster. Model number ST2000 is printed on the rating plate on the bottom of the toaster.

ENTERTAINMENT CENTERS 

Ameriwood Industries Inc is recalling about 138,000 entertainment centers sold nationwide from June 2000 to May 2005. The entertainment centers can collapse if the back panel is not secure, posing a risk of death or serious injury . 

The recalled entertainment centers are black with two lower miter-framed doors, two glass doors at the top, and CD storage racks. They measure about 54 inches wide, 71 inches high, and 20 inches deep. They were sold under the Ridgewood/Charleswood brand name. Model number 93956 is printed on the instruction manual.

INVERSION BENCHES 

Icon Health & Fitness Inc. is recalling Nordic Track and Reebok Inversion Benches sold nationwide from September 2006 to January 2007. he ankle clamp mechanism can release unexpectedly, posing a fall hazard. 

The Nordic Track bench is model number 831.14595.0 and the Reebok bench is model number RBBE1996.0. The model number is located under the seat of the bench.

COLLECTIBLE MINI RACING HELMETS 

Bell Racing Co. is recalling Collectible Mini Helmets sold nationwide from March 2007 to November 2007. Surface paints on the recalled helmets contain excessive levels of lead, violating the federal lead paint standard. 

The recalled products are six-inch tall, collectible, miniature helmets, modeled after helmets worn by several race car drivers. The follow models are included in the recall: Terry Borcheller helmet, part number 2005740; Kurt Busch helmet, part number 2001368; and Vitor Meira helmet, part number 2001381. The part number is located on the product's packaging with the UPC.

POTTY TRAINING SEATS 

RC2 Corp. is recalling The First Years 3-in-1 Flush and Sounds Potty Seats sold nationwide from April 2006 to August 2007. Decorative plaque inserted into the back of the potty seat could have orange paint that contains excessive levels of lead. 

The recall involves the First Years 3-in-1 Flush and Sounds potty training seats. Each seat has either a yellow chair with a green removable seat and a purple lift out-pot or a blue chair with a white removable seat and green lift out-pot. The words "100 Acre Wood" are molded on the chair back. The plaque inserted into the back of the seat contains molded Winnie the Pooh and Tigger characters.

CHILDREN'S FEEDING SEATS 

RC2 Corp. is recalling The First Years Newborn-to-Toddler Reclining Feeding Seats sold nationwide from November 2006 to October 2007. The restraining straps can pull out of the waist strap slots, posing a fall hazard. 

The First Years Newborn-to-Toddler Reclining Feeding Seat can be adjusted between reclining and upright positions. One side of the seat cushion has a sewn-in label at the top which says "the first years by Learning Curve." This recall includes all feeding seats except those with an "R" stamped inside a raised circle located on the far left and right of the back of the seatback.

CHILDREN'S PANTS SOLD BY SEARS 

Sears is recalling TKS-brand children's pants sold at their stores nationwide from July 2007 to August 2007. The recalled pants have a ribbon belt at the waist that can pose an entrapment or entanglement hazard. 

The recalled pants were sold in two styles. The first style (model numbers 62240 and 62254) is denim with a brown ribbon belt on the waistband. They were sold in infant sizes 12 months, 18 months and 24 months and toddler sizes 2T, 3T and 4T. The second style (model number 62226) is khaki with a fabric belt on the waistband.

They were sold in toddler sizes 2T, 3T and 4T. 

Consumers should immediately remove the belt to eliminate the hazard.

GIRLS' CLOTHING SET SOLD AT K-MART STORES 

K-mart is recalling Basic Editions-brand girls' clothing sets sold at their stores nationwide during July 2007. The recalled pants have a drawstring at the waist that can pose an entrapment or entanglement hazard. 

The recalled two-piece clothing set has olive-colored knit pants with a fully-tunneled waist drawstring and a pink short-sleeved top with necktie. The set was sold in the following girls' sizes: 4/5, 6/6X, 7/8, and 10/12. 

Consumers should immediately remove the drawstrings to eliminate the hazard.

CHILDREN'S SWEATERS SOLD BY SEARS 

Sears is recalling Personal Identity-brand V-neck sweaters with hood sold at their stores nationwide during September 2007. The recalled sweaters have a drawstring through the hood, posing a strangulation hazard. 

The recalled sweaters have a V-neck, hood and kangaroo pocket. The sweaters are either pink with charcoal stripes or blue with white stripes. They were sold in the following girls' sizes: small, medium, large, and extra large. 

Consumers should immediately remove the drawstring to eliminate the hazard.

BOYS' SWEATSHIRTS 

Scope Apparel L.P. is recalling boys' hooded sweatshirts sold nationwide from August 2007 to November 2007. The garments have a drawstring through the hood which can pose a strangulation hazard. 

The boys' small and medium sized hooded zip-up sweatshirts have various designs on the front, and were sold in charcoal, navy blue and brown colors. "Whatever" and "RN#39209" are printed on the tag sewn into the jacket. 

Consumers should immediately remove the drawstrings to eliminate the hazard, or return the sweatshirts to the place of purchase.

OSCILLATING HEATERS 

Collins International Co. is recalling Oscillating Ceramic Heaters sold nationwide at Menards' stores from September 2006 to March 2007. The heaters can overheat, smoke, or ignite which could pose a fire hazard. 

This recall involves 1500 watt oscillating ceramic heaters model EB38005. The heater has a white plastic housing with the name "Heat-Wave" in black on its top. A label on the bottom of the product contains the model and the control number "ETL 3090262." 

Consumers return the heaters to the nearest Menards' store for a full refund.

HOLIDAY FIGURINES SOLD AT HOME DEPOT STORES 

Home Depot is recalling Holiday Figurines sold at their stores nationwide from October 2007 to November 2007. Surface paint on the holiday figurines contains lead. 

The recalled holiday figurines are painted plastic snowmen and bears. The SKU number is printed on the bottom of the product.

STARBUCKS COFFEE MUGS 

Starbucks is recalling Fusion Coffee Mugs sold at their stores nationwide from February 2007 to November 2007. The plastic handle can detach from the body of the mug when filled with hot liquids, posing a minor burn hazard.

This recall involves two styles of Starbucks 14-ounce Fusion Coffee Mugs. The mugs are white and have a black plastic handle, and a stainless steel base. The cups have "Starbucks Coffee" printed on a black stamp or a brown original Starbucks logo stamp.

BOWFLEX HOME GYMS 

Nautilus Inc. is recalling Bowflex® Ultimate 2 Home Gyms sold nationwide from June 2005 to August 2007. The fasteners used to secure the rod box to the frame of the equipment can come loose, allowing the resistance rods or rod box to separate and strike the user or a bystander. 

The recalled home gyms are equipped with pulleys, resistance rods, and other equipment, which allow the user to perform a variety of exercises. "Bowflex Ultimate 2" is written on the vertical part of the frame.

POLARIS RANGER UTILITY VEHICLES 

Polaris Industries Inc. is recalling Model Year 2008 Polaris Ranger RZR 800 EFI Utility Vehicles sold nationwide from August 2007 to November 2007. The utility vehicle's fuel tank can leak, posing fire and burn hazards. 

The recall includes Model Year 2008 Polaris Ranger RZR 800 EFI utility vehicles with model number R08VH76AD (red), and model number R08VH76AG (green) are included in this recall. They were manufactured between August 21, 2007 and October 3, 2007. The model number decal is located under the passenger seat. 

Consumers should contact their local Polaris dealer to arrange for a fuel tank inspection.

The recall involves 15 styles of children’s sunglasses. The style name is printed on the product inside the left temple arm. The name "Foster Grant" may also appear on the temple arm of some styles. The styles included in the recall are:
