LAPD: Charlize Theron's Home Burglarized

[December 11, 2007]  LOS ANGELES (AP) -- The Hollywood-area home of Charlize Theron was burglarized last week, police said.

Officers were investigating the break-in, which occurred some time between Thursday and Saturday, police spokeswoman Sara Faden said Monday.

Authorities did not know what, if anything, was taken, and Faden couldn't immediately say who reported the incident or when police were first notified.

Theron's publicist, Amanda Silverman, did not respond to an e-mail message Monday seeking more information.

The 32-year-old actress won an Oscar for her role in "Monster." Her screen credits also include "North Country" and "The Cider House Rules."
