The top priority issue of the council is, as always, government spending and revenue. I would also like to see addressed the Fifth Street Road expansion, residential development and incentives for new developers and land owners.

Regarding the 5th Street road project, I believe that should be one of the highest priorities to help with the continued growth on the west side.

In working with new developers, we are investing in Lincoln's future, by creating additional tax revenues of spin off business, and additional employees spending money within the city.

Residential development: We need to expand within the city limits to minimize running additional utilities. Such as the areas behind the Dairy Queen (west of Jefferson Street), Home Avenue area and also the east side of North Union Street.

Some new ideas for the city council would be continued beautification of the four corners on Woodlawn and additional lighting of Route 10 from Lincoln Parkway to I-55.
