[February 27, 2007]  The Logan County Board at its Feb. 22 meeting approved the appointments of Gloria Luster, Brian Ash and Dick Logan as its representatives to the Lincoln & Logan County Development Partnership.

Airport-farm chairman Bill Sahs reported that several trees on residential property adjacent to the airport will be trimmed soon to comply with FAA requirements.

Financial reports were presented showing the county's current financial status, which includes January revenue of $573,516.58 and expenses of $227,067.68. The January balance was $896,787.32. Hotel-motel tax revenues totaled $15,430.35 for January.

In other action the board recognized Dewey Colter for his 2 1/2 years as county coordinator and held a reception for him after the meeting. Colter is leaving the community to pursue other opportunities and will be missed, according to board chairman Dick Logan.
