[July 16, 2007]  The public is invited to attend an informational event on Tuesday. Senior Services of Central Illinois is presenting the program B*SAFE.

"B*SAFE" stands for bankers and seniors against financial exploitation. It is geared for seniors, but has information that anyone could benefit from.

"These seniors issues are so important, and we want to inform as many seniors as possible to help protect them," said Marcia Cook, L.P.N., community nurse liaison at the Christian Village.

The program will be presented at the Christian Village senior apartment building, 1500 Seventh St. It begins at 1:30 p.m. and lasts about an hour.
