A cold front is expected to sag southward into the northern Plains and Rockies, bringing with it scattered showers and thunderstorms to the regions. Hail and gusty winds are also possible in portions of Idaho, Montana and Wyoming later in the day.

In the Four Corners region, showers and thunderstorms are likely, with strong to severe wind gusts possible in the afternoon and early evening hours.
