 Julian Mascote, 18, and Francisco Franco, 21, both of Elgin, died after being shot late Thursday, police Sgt. Sean Rafferty said.
Three other men, ages 16, 19 and 23, remained hospitalized early Friday with gunshot wounds that appeared to be non-life threatening, Rafferty said.
Officers responded to reports of shots being fired after 10 p.m. Thursday, he said. No weapon had been recovered and no one was in police custody early Friday, Rafferty said.
