Windswept Manor open house this weekend

[June 08, 2007]  Windswept Manor in Lincoln will have an open house this weekend during the Logan County Route 66 Garage Sale. Come on over to 227 N. Logan in Lincoln from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday or from 10 a.m. to noon on Sunday to view this charming bed and breakfast.

The fabulous accommodations include a large Northwoods Suite with a whirlpool tub and separate shower; a two-room tropical-themed suite with claw-foot tub and separate shower; the English Cottage Suite with two rooms and two twin beds, with a tub and shower. Each room is decorated and named for a production of Mystery Ink, the dinner theater owned by the innkeepers.

Mystery Ink is a small, interactive dinner theater right on the square in downtown Lincoln. June 22-24, they're "Cashed Out in Vegas." A group of tourists wearing a certain color hat meet up with a has-been showgirl, a cheating dealer, a tough casino boss, a down-on-his-luck impersonator, and a nutty bride and groom in this hilarious trip to Vegas. Before it's over, will they have bet their lives? Don't miss this hilarious murder mystery.

Tickets are still available for "Cashed Out in Vegas." For reservations, call 217-732-6102 or purchase online. June 22 and 23 the doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show begins at 7. On June 24 the doors open at 1 p.m. and the show begins at 1:30. Tickets are $35, and $32 for seniors. Groups of 10 or more may receive the group rate of $30 per person. Tickets include a three-course meal of fresh-baked bread, salad, entree choice, dessert, coffee or tea, tax and gratuity. There is a cash bar available.
