LCHS drama and group interp casts just miss qualifying for state          Send a link to a friend

[March 19, 2007]  CHARLESTON -- The Lincoln Community High School drama and group interpretation casts participated in the Charleston Sectional on Friday and Saturday, placing third in drama and fourth in group interpretation. Each was only points from qualifying for the state competition.

"To say that we were disappointed was an understatement," said Ed Jodlowski, coach for Lincoln. "The kids worked so hard and deserved to advance. In both drama and group interp, at least one judge placed us first, so we were obviously disappointed because we were so close in both."

Named to the all-sectional cast in drama were Tony Curcuru, Janel Filbeck and Rebecca Kasa. The all-sectional group interpretation cast was comprised of Tony Curcuru, Lincoln Moore, Annie Sheley and Kelly Knecht.
