The celebration of the arts, staged in Latham Park, will bring
together 80 artists from 14 states to display their work. There will
be original art in the park in the form of jewelry, sculpture,
photography, glassware, pottery, wood, metalwork, oils, watercolors
and other media. Admission is free. The Children's Art Tent will
again offer hands-on art projects and artwork exclusively for
children at prices they can afford.
With the addition of the downtown "Kickapoo Kingdom," there will
be a carousel, inflatable attractions, carnival games and
interactive games, as well as food concessions.
The balloon fest this year will once again challenge the
imagination of the spectators as they experience the beauty and
wonder of 40 hot-air balloons in flight and a stunning evening
balloon glow at the Logan County Airport.
The festival coordinator, Annette Chapman, is pleased and excited
to announce the addition of the U.S. Army Silver Wings Paratroopers,
the official Command Exhibition Parachute Demonstration Team from
Fort Benning, Ga. You don't want to miss it!
