The Oasis, Logan County's senior citizen
center, 501 Pulaski St. in Lincoln, is open weekdays, except
holidays, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The center also is open on Friday
and Sunday nights for table games. Dominic Dalpoas is the executive
director. Activities are open to all Logan County senior citizens,
regardless of membership. Friends of The Oasis members receive a
bimonthly newsletter by mail and reduced rates for classes and

Bingo sponsored by St. Clara's St. Clara's Manor will
sponsor the bingo games Thursday, beginning at 1 p.m., at The Oasis.
Bring a friend and come join the fun!
Oasis closed for Memorial Day
The senior center will be closed for Memorial Day. Activities
will resume the following business day. Honor your veterans!
Tuesday lunch
The 11:30 a.m. lunch for May 22 features stuffed peppers,
potatoes, bread and butter, dessert, and a drink for $3.75, or $3.25
if you stay to play cards. Reservation deadline is 4 p.m. Friday.

Oasis breakfast bingo
Tickets are available for breakfast bingo May 31. Doors open at
8:30 a.m., and breakfast will be served at 9, featuring biscuits and
gravy, egg casserole, and fresh fruit. Bingo, sponsored by Liberty
Village, will follow breakfast. The cost for breakfast and to play
bingo is $3.50. Reservation deadline is Friday. Come eat and play
bingo!
Winners for the week announced
Helen Cart and Linda Hughes were the weekday pinochle card game
winners. Esther Will was the weekend winner for pinochle. Rummy
winners were Linda Hughes and Ella Lee Graney. Congratulations.
