Mary E. Sielaff, 87, of Lincoln
passed away at 2:09 p.m. at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield
on Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2007. |
Visitation will be from 9 – 11 a.m. on Saturday at
Faith Lutheran Church, Lincoln. A service will be
conducted at 11 a.m. at the church by Rev. Mark
Peters.
Burial will be in Zion Cemetery, Lincoln.
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home of Lincoln is
handling arrangements.
Mrs. Sielaff was a retired registered nurse. She
worked at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital, St.
Clara’s Manor and the Christian Village.
She was born to David and Elizabeth Brown Schofield
on April 2, 1920 in Latham. She married Albert
Sielaff on Dec. 27, 1953 in Missouri. He preceded
her in death on June 2, 2001.
She is survived by two sons; David (Sara) Sielaff
and Dr. Don (Jan) Sielaff, both of Lincoln. She had
two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband
and one sister, Frances Gornick.
She was the last of her immediate family.
Mrs. Sielaff graduated from Deaconess Hospital
School of Nursing and was a member of the Deaconess
Nurses Association. She was a member of Faith
Lutheran Church of Lincoln.
Memorial may be made to Faith Lutheran Church of
Lincoln Christian Education Fund or to CIEDC
Transportation.
