[October 03, 2007]  SALEM, Ore. (AP) -- Deputy Dave Wagner had just finished booking a suspect at the Marion County Jail Tuesday when he heard a radio report that a stolen pickup truck had been spotted in northeast Salem. He decided to check it out. He didn't go far.

In the jail's parking lot, two women were in a 1984 Toyota truck to visit a boyfriend. Deputies said the women had 21 grams of methamphetamine, scales and packaging material in the truck along with them.

Police said the two Salem women, 24 and 25, were booked there on charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and drug charges are impending.
