Jack-o'-lantern display at Rees Carillon and Botanical Garden          Send a link to a friend

[October 12, 2007]  SPRINGFIELD -- A display of 2,007 hand-carved, illuminated jack-o'-lanterns will surround the Rees Memorial Carillon and Botanical Garden at Washington Park from 6 to 10 p.m. Oct. 19-20.

The event features Tree of Lights, food vendors and park-and-ride service. There were over 6,000 visitors in 2006.

The event is sponsored by the Rees Carillon Society and Springfield Park District.

The park is at Chatham Road and Fayette Street.

The cost is $5 for adults, $3 for ages 4-11 and free for age 3 and under.
