[October 16, 2007]  Craig Rohlfs, son of Ron and Mitzi Rohlfs of Lincoln, is this year's recipient of the Edward Madigan Scholarship at Lincoln College.

Rohlfs, a 2006 Lincoln Community High School graduate, is taking liberal arts courses at Lincoln College and plans to pursue an Associate in Arts degree.

The Edward Madigan Scholarship is given to a deserving student, with preference given to a student with an interest in public service. The award was established in memory of Edward Madigan (LC Class of '55), who served in the U.S. Congress for 18 years and was appointed secretary of agriculture under President George Bush.
