Smith receives Harts Scholarship

[October 16, 2007]  Lincoln College sophomore Samantha Smith of Lincoln is this year's recipient of the David Harts Memorial Scholarship at Lincoln College.

Smith is a 2006 Lincoln Community High School graduate. She is taking liberal arts courses at Lincoln College and working toward an Associate in Arts degree. She was on the fall 2006 and spring 2007 Special Honors List. She plans to continue her education at Illinois State University and major in criminal justice. She is the daughter of Tina Nutt of Lincoln.

The David Harts Scholarship is awarded to students who have achieved academic honors. The scholarship is in memory of David Harts, who is a lifelong benefactor of Lincoln College.
