4-H photography exhibits chosen for
display at state 4-H office

CHAMPAIGN -- Zack Huffer, 16, of Lincoln,
received a superior rating on his photography project at the 2007
Illinois State Fair and has the honor of being one of nine exhibits
chosen for a photography display. Zack's "Icy Fence" photograph will
be on display at the state 4-H office on the University of Illinois
at Urbana-Champaign campus for the next year.

Zack has been an active member of the Wide-A-Wake 4-H Club for eight
years. This is the seventh year for the state exhibit, which
showcases the outstanding talents of Illinois 4-H members. The nine
photography projects were selected from 223 entries.

Nationally, 4-H is the largest out-of-school educational program
for youth. The 4-H program seeks to assist youth in acquiring
knowledge, forming attitudes and developing life skills that will
enable them to become caring, competent and contributing members of
society.
In Illinois, 281,462 youth participate in 4-H and the other youth
programs of University of Illinois Extension. More than 25,300 youth
