Agriculture futures finished mixed          Send a link to a friend

[September 13, 2007]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Wheat futures fell sharply Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery plunged 30 cents to $8.605 a bushel, the daily price swing permitted; December corn rose 15.25 cents to $3.565 a bushel; December oats rose 6.5 cents to $2.7675 a bushel; November soybeans rose 18 cents to $9.385 a bushel.

Beef futures declined while pork futures finished mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle shed 0.98 cent to 94.72 cents a pound; October feeder cattle fell 1.62 cents to $1.167 a pound; October lean hogs fell 0.65 cent to 65.2 cents a pound; February pork bellies rose 0.4 cent to 87.22 cents a pound.
