Wheat for December delivery rose 1 cent to $8.46 a bushel; December corn gained 2.25 cents to $3.49 a bushel; December oats rose 1.75 cents to $2.8075 a bushel; November soybeans added 13.5 cents to $9.5475 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle added 0.58 cent to 95.25 cents a pound; October feeder cattle increased 0.33 cent to $1.1685 a pound; October lean hogs rose 0.15 cent to 65.55 cents a pound; February pork bellies gained 0.63 cent to 90.1 cents a pound.
