[April 12, 2008]  Adam Cheatham has been selected by Logan County Habitat for Humanity as the recipient of a home in 2008. He is looking forward to helping build his home at the corner of Lincoln and Hamilton streets in Lincoln. Two other Habitat owners will be his neighbors.

Habitat’s goal is to build simple, decent and affordable houses of comparable quality for those in need. When completed, each Habitat home is appraised by an independent, certified appraiser. The recipient of the home then buys the house for 70 percent of the appraised value and receives a zero interest rate loan from Habitat.
