Adam Cheatham has been selected by Logan County
Habitat for Humanity as the recipient of a home in 2008. He is
looking forward to helping build his home at the corner of Lincoln
and Hamilton streets in Lincoln. Two other Habitat owners will be
his neighbors.

Habitat’s goal is to build simple, decent and affordable houses of
comparable quality for those in need. When completed, each Habitat
home is appraised by an independent, certified appraiser. The
recipient of the home then buys the house for 70 percent of the
appraised value and receives a zero interest rate loan from Habitat.
