Dinner and auction benefit Friday for Keith Hunter

[April 23, 2008] Friends of Keith Hunter are hosting a benefit Friday at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 217 N. Limit, to help defray his medical expenses from cancer treatments and surgeries. He also has additional intense treatments ahead of him.

Hunter has been an active member of the Broadwell Fire Department and was mayor of Broadwell. He worked at Row Motors as a mechanic for several years and is currently working at O'Reilly Auto Parts.

The benefit will include a meal served from 4:30 to 7 p.m., auction at 7 p.m., band and 50-50 drawing. The menu is barbecued pork, baked beans, chips, desserts and drinks.

The cost will be $5 , and checks should be made payable to the Keith Hunter Benefit. No charge to children under 12.
